| Amtech Aeronautical Limited is a
professional engineering and project management services company with
facilities in Calgary and Medicine Hat, Alberta. Incorporated in 1991
as a private Canadian corporation, the company has earned a reputation for
engineering excellence with a proven track record of bringing
multi-disciplinary aeronautical, military and automated/remote sensing
projects to a successful conclusion.
The Calgary location, near the international airport, is ideally situated for conducting projects in aircraft certification engineering and product development for the aeronautical industry, and for supporting remote sensing system development for environmental monitoring. Amtech's work in the design certification of major modifications to large and small fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters spans a full-range of structural, interior systems, avionics systems, and special ops modifications for a range of aircraft types from Cessna 172 to Boeing 747 aircraft.
Amtech's Medicine Hat location is extensively involved in the military engineering and products area. Amtech has developed a strong working relationship with nearby Defence R&D Canada Suffield (DRDC Suffield). We provide a variety of project management, engineering and technical services to DRDC Suffield. The Medicine Hat location also provides engineering and technical support to organizations wishing to use the Suffield Experimental Proving Ground (EPG) and other specialized facilities at DRDC Suffield. Amtech offers expert, innovative solutions to clients' engineering service and product development requirements with a professional team of project managers, engineers, scientists and technologists. Additional specialized expertise can be contracted through Amtech's network of associates and partnering companies. Amtech has developed a variety of industry and government contacts that augment our capabilities. Amtech has extensive delegation from Transport Canada as Design Approval Organization 02-C-02 as well as having on-staff a Transport Canada Design Approval Representative (DAR) with aircraft modification and repair privileges in structures, systems and equipment for large and small aircraft. In addition, we have a strong working relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) which provides commercial access to specialized facilities at DRDC Suffield and departmental expertise in defence systems. |
